Week 3 Patent Claim 1 Explanation
Claim 1 of patent, "Slide to unlock patent" (US 8046721), basically states that they get full credit for getting a phone to unlock by using the touching method than sliding your finger. A few of the main points of the claim include touch sensitive display, an unlock image for users to know exactly where they have to slide their finger to unlock the phone and an end position to unlock said phone.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Kyle, even though you made a concise summary, you should go deeper into your thinking. The language of the patent is intended to be a step by step explanation and I think if you did the same, your post would be much more informative.

Thanks for giving his a suggestion. I think these types of comments are important for us to grow when reading more into patents and trying to understand them.
